Skyline 55-01 is a solid and double-cut electric bass made by Lakland. Lakland is a small brand with a versatile catalog filled with reasonably priced guitars and basses. The key to the success of this small brand is in the quality of their instruments and their ability to parry the intermediate models made by major brands. Skyline 55-01 is the best example of that claim. It is a solid, double-cut bass with five-string construction, Music Man-reminiscent design and high quality hardware. Body of this outstanding five-stringer is made of ash and it`s paired with a maple neck via the classic bolt-on neck joint. Regular five-saddled bridge and two single-coil pickups are installed on the top. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard wraps the specs.
