Model T series deals with vintage-styled bass guitars made in the image of the legendary Precision Basses (Telecaster Bass variant to be precise). For 2015, Model T returns to the catalog with a pair of models settled within the Session tier. Session models are, despite their discreet and stripped down looks, pretty high ranking instruments. For, instead of flashy looks, they concentrate on high-end materials and tonal versatility. Model T Session Left Handed comes with a solid, double-cut swamp ash body, bolted maple neck with a thin C profile, vintage-styled Grover tuning machines and a 22-fret maple fingerboard with offset inlays and 1.653" wide black TUSQ string nut. Following the suit, the rest of the hardware (including the string-through hardtail bridge, control knobs, pickguard and pickups covers) is black to contrast the Aged Natural Satin color scheme featured on the body and the back of the neck. EMG`s J and P pickups form the pickups combo. Master volume, pickup pan knob and a two-band EQ (bass and treble boost/cut knobs) comprise the controls unit. To support the active electronics, Schecter throws in an 18v battery compartment (actually two 9v batteries).
