Omen 5 2012 Left Handed is a fresh new model introduced for the 2012 NAMM Show. It is situated within the Omen line of solid-bodied electric basses and represents the extended range option for left-handed bass players who want to play metal and heavy rock music. Omen 5 2012 Left Handed is a solid bodied, double cutaway model with a body made of basswood. It bears a lot of similarity with both other Omen basses and Omen guitars due to Schecter`s strict model family policy which tends to keep all models under one name recognizable. This model is available in black gloss with ivory binding and walnut satin with black binding. The bridge is still Diamond bass with five saddles, black chrome plating and string-through-body construction. The pickups are Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers with extended range. The controls department consists of master volume, master blend and an active two-band equalizer. The neck is made of maple and connected to the body via the bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is, as on all Omens, made of rosewood and equipped with 24 extra jumbo sized frets with pearloid semi-goth position inlays. Black chrome hardware, 35" scale and Schecter tuners wrap the spec for Omen 5 2012 Left Handed.
