C-5 Deluxe is the basic five stringer of the C series which is dedicated to the production of modern designed double cutaway basses. C-5 Deluxe comes with a solid double cutaway body made of basswood. This extended range bass has a carved top, but there are no bindings or pickguards. This modest elegant approach only accentuates the beauty of the curves this bass has. As tradition proposes, there`s not many color options available, in fact, only two, black cherry and see-thru black. Both of them are finished in gloss. The bridge section of this five-stringer is occupied by Schecter`s Diamond Bass bridge with five saddles, black chrome plating and string-through-body construction. Pickups are also made by Schecter and the bridge position is taken by Schecter Diamond Bass humbucker, while the middle position sports a Scchecter J single coil pickup. Controls for these pickups are made up of master volume, master bland and a three-band equalizer. The neck is made of maple and features a bolt-on joint with six bolts. The fingerboard is, as on all C basses, made of rosewood and equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets with offset dot inlays.
