Schecter`s bass segment received a C line of basses, these are instruments which feature sleek, modern design in combination with simple and effective features. C line offers both four and five-string models. Left and right handed options are equally represented with these basses. C-5 custom Left Handed is a solid bodied, double cutaway bass made of ash body and maple/walnut neck. The body features very modern double cutaway design with a palette of see-thru satin colors. The top of the body is heavily carved and features no binding or pickguards. The bridge is made by Schecter and is available in two variants. One is top-load, and the other is string-through-body construction. Both of these options are plated in black chrome. Pickups are active EMGs. In the bridge there is EMG40HZ humbucker, and the middle position sports an active LJHZ single coil also made by EMG. Controls are made up of master volume, master blend and a three-band active EMG equalizer. The neck is made of multiple maple/walnut laminated and features a six-bolt joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and offset dot inlays. The scale measures standard 35" and tuners are Schecter bass.
