ReBop series models are very similar to the ones found in the LX series. Design-wise, they`re the same, as they both feature the classic Spector design, but construction-wise, there is one major difference. ReBop models feature bolt-on neck joints, as opposed to the neck-through construction of the models from the LX series. ReBop 4 DLX EX is solid, double-cut bass with four-string construction, standard length scale, 24-fret fingerboard and active electronics. Body of this model is made of alder back and flamed maple top (zebra wood top is also available as an option). On the top, Spector installs a four-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of active humbucking pickups. Maple neck on ReBop 4 DLX EX is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
