Rebop series offers standard double-cut Europe series basses with bolt-on neck construction, instead of the neck-through construction, which is featured in the LX series. Bolt-on neck joint was popularized by Fender in the 1950s and it remains the most economic type of construction with good stability and very good price/value ratio. RoBop 4 DLX FM is one of two ReBop four-stringed models with bolt-on neck joint. It features a solid, classic double-cut body made of alder back and maple top (this is the most frequent combo found on solid and double-cut electric basses in the industry). On the top, there is a standard four-saddled bridge and in it`s front, Spector installs a pair of active humbuckers. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
