Rex Brown is one of the most famous and most influential bass players in metal circles. His tight and earth-smashing heavy riffing along with late Dimebag Darrell in Pantera has granted Rex an iconic status. Over the years Rx has played with countless bands and musicians and has played a number of basses. Among them, Spector basses have always been around. Rex`s current signature line made by Spector contains two models, the Rex 4 and Rex 5. Rex 5 is a solid,single-cut five stringer with full-length scale, solid, flat-top body made of maple wings and maple neck, gold-plated hardware (both the bridge and tuning machines), active EMG pickups (H/H configuration and separate volume and tone knobs) and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
