Vintage Modified series is one of the most important series in Squier side of the Fender catalog. Squier segment deals with affordable series and models based on the upscale Fender catalog. Despite the different name of the brand and different names of the series, Squier`s models offer genuine Fender quality to beginners and inexperienced players. Their Vintage Modified range consists of many guitars and basses, giving virtually every player a guitar and bass to suit his/her style. For 2013, Squier and Fender are refreshing the series with a multitude of basses among which is Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '70s Left Handed, as well. It features a solid and double-cut Jazz Bass body made of maple, instead of series standard agathis and basswood. On it`s top, there`s a vintage bridge with four saddles and vintage decorations. In front of the bridge, Squier installs two Fender-designed single-coil pickups with standard controls unit. Master tone and two volume knobs comprise it. Neck on this model is bolted to the body and it`s made of maple. It is fit with a C contour in the back and a 20-fret maple fingerboard on the top. The MSRP is set at $529.99.
