Robert Trujillo is probably the most popular signature artist in the Warwick catalog, and 2012 brings us the updated versions of Korea-made Robert Trujillo signature basses. These updates affect both the four and five-stringed models. Warwick and Robert uncovered these models at the NAMM Show this year. Robert Trujillo 4 2012 starts off with a solid double cutaway body which is made of maple back and quilted maple top. There are no pickguards or bindings available for this model. Ocean blue is the color of choice for this year`s updates, and it comes with gloss finish. The bridge is a standard Warwick bass feature, a Warwick`s own two-piece bridge with chrome plating and top-load construction. Pickup combo retains the single/single configuration. EMG active single coils are positioned at both the bridge and neck positions. Active Bartolini electronics feature volume with push/pull switch, bass, mid and treble controls. Neck is made of maple and is equipped with neck-through-body construction. The fingerboard is made of tigerstripe ebony and it features 24 jumbo sized frets with brass string nut. Mother of pearl RT inlay is placed at the 12th fret. Other features include: 34" scale, chrome hardware and Warwick tuners.
