Streamer Series from Korean made Pro series is updated for 2012 with a brand new line of Streamer Stage I basses. Currently, the series is made up of four basses, fretted and fretless right-hand variants of four and five string instruments. For now, there are no left handed Stage I Streamers. Streamer Stage I 4 Fretless comes as a solid bodied, double cutaway model with a body made of US cherry wood. The body of this bass is equipped only with what is essential for playing, so there are no pickguards, top woods or binding of any kind. black high polish, natural high polish and honey sunburst stain high polish are color options available for this Streamer. The bridge is a Warwick`s own two-piece with chrome plating and four saddles. Pickup combo is shared with fretted version and includes two MEC active pickups in J/P configuration. Electronics are also active and made by Warwick`s MEC. The neck is made of maple with ekanga veneers and through-body construction for maximum sustain. The fingerboard is made of tigerstripe ebony, as is the case with all Warwick fretless models. It features Just A Nut III string nut.
