Streamer LX 5 Fretless is a model from the highly acclaimed Streamer series made by Warwick. Streamers were first introduced back in the 1980s and have become, along with Thumb and Corvette, Warwick`s most important line of electric basses. There are several Streamer lines and sub-lines, but the standard one made in Germany is the top one (excluding exclusive and one-off custom and limited edition creations). LX 5 Fretless is one of several five-stringers in this series and it features a solid, double-cut body made of flamed maple. It is paired with the series standard ovangkol neck. On the top, LX 5 Fretless features a two-piece bridge and two active single-coil pickups. 24-fret fingerboard made of wenge completes the specs list for this model.
