Thumb series is a line of solid-bodied basses with huge tone and supreme sustain. Basses from this series boast an especially robust construction and are made of finest materials. There are numerous variants and options to choose from in the Thumb series, so that every player can find something for himself. Thumbs are also equipped with modern design features. For 2013 Warwick has prepared one special Thumb bass, a Thumb BO LTD 2013. It is a low end beast with full 34" scale and bolt-on neck joint construction. Other than that, this juggernaut comes with options of four and five strings. Also, there`s a choice between 24-fret ebony fingerboard or a fretless one. Left and right variants are available with no extra charge. Body on all options and variants is made of US swamp ash and has vavona burl top. Bridge is a classic Warwick two-piece with top-load construction. Pickups are supplied by EMG, they`re active and feature active electronics. Neck is bolted to the body and it`s made of 100% FSC certified wenge. It`s topped with a 24-fret tigerstripe ebony fingerboard with yin yang inlays. Fretless variant is also available. Black hardware, Warwick tuners and 34" scale wrap the story up.
