Thumb NT models in the double-cut side of the German-made Thumb series are made of the same materials as their bolt-on counterparts. The only difference is found in construction, for NT models have neck-through construction. Thumb NT 5 features bubinga wings glued onto the ovangkol neck, thus forming a super-solid neck/body connection. This type of construction also ensures superb stability and minimizes the neck problems which bolted and set in necks are prone to. Warwick offers this one in a standard range of color and finish options. On the top of the body, Thumb NT 5 features the five-saddled Warwick bridge and a pair of single-coil pickups. Ovangkol neck is fit with a series standard contour in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top.
