Single cut Thumbs offer unprecedented tone and sustain from their big bodies with neck-through construction. Thumb SC 6 Broadneck Left Handed kicks off with a solid, single cutaway body made of swamp ash back and bubinga top. Top is flat and stripped down to basics, as binding and pickguards are scratched from the specs list. Natural oil finish is the only one available for this single cut six-stringer. The bridge is the same as on the right hand variant, it is Warwick`s own 2-piece with top load construction and black paint. MEC provides the pickups, they are passive humbuckers in both bridge and neck positions. MEC also provides the electronics and controls for these pickups, which consist of master volume, bass, treble and balance control knobs. All thumb models feature flamed maple necks with slim contours and neck-through-body construction. Tigerstripe ebony fingerboards are standard and they feature 26 frets with brass string nuts and no position inlays. Other features include: 34" scale, black hardware and Warwick tuners.
