Sonus is the biggest and most important line in the Zon catalog and it is comprised of several smaller sub-lines with a common theme. These sub-lines are each focused on their own tasks and goals and compete in separate classes of the market. Standard models simply named Sonus represent the backbone of the entire Sonus range and can be found in the upper intermediate class of the market. Sonus 4 opens up this sub-series with a solid, double-cut body made of alder back and maple top. Zon offers this model in Natural color with gloss finish and chrome-plated hardware. Sonus 4 is fit with a pair of active single-coil pickups with a simple controls unit. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret phenolic fingerboard.
