Sonus is a super series of electric basses made by Zon. It incorporates several sub-lines based on the famous Sonus concept. Basic models of this line compete in the intermediate class of the market, while the top models of this series compete in the luxurious class. Sonus 5/2 is an intermediate five-stringer, which can also be used for professional purposes. It comes with a solid, double-cut body with modern design and bolt-on neck joint construction. Standard tonewoods combo includes alder back and maple top, as well as a maple neck (neck is attached with a bolt-on joint). Electronics section is fit with a pair of humbucking pickups with a simple set of volume and tone knobs. Phenolic fingerboard with 24 frets completes the specs list.
