50th Anniversary Pete Townshend SG is one luxurious SG guitar. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany. Classic SG body construction includes the slightly asymmetrical double cutaway, flat top with beveled edges and contoured back. Set in neck joint is also featured on this one. There is no top wood cover over the mahogany body. 50th Anniversary Pete Townshend SG only comes in Alpine White color with high gloss finish. As a contrast, Gibson installs a black plastic pickguard and pickups with black covers. Bridge and tuners are, however, plated in chrome. Wrap around bridge is fronted by a pair of P-90 single coils with standard controls unit. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body at the 19th fret. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
