Ibanez X Series models feature out-of-this-world body shapes, 24 frets and hellraising tone from their mighty pickups. XG307 is a new model in the series represented just in time for 2012 NAMM Show. For starters, XG307 has an X shaped double cutaway body with a flat top. This model is available in black flat, the Ibanez name for black satin color. No bindigs or pickguards are featured on the top of this seven-string beast. The bridge is fixed and paired with a string-through-body construction. it is painted in cosmo black. The pickup department features two humbuckers, one in the bridge and one in the neck position. They are controlled through master volume and three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and features a fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets with no inlays. The MSRP is not set yet.
