Ibanez RGDIR7M
Iron label RGD Electric Guitars by Ibanez
Iron label RGD Electric Guitars by Ibanez
Iron Label made its debut back in 2013 as Ibanez`s metal-oriented series. Its initial lineup was heavily based on peppered-up RG models, but over time Artist, S, RGD, RGA, and other series` models were introduced into the range. For the 2018 edition of NAMM, Ibanez has prepared a trio of magnificent RGD-based Iron Label axes. RGDIR7M is the most extreme option among them. It comes in bold Laser Blue Matte, with matte finish, white plastics, black hardware, and completely stripped-down styling (no binding, no pickguard, no fancy inlays). Main construction features include a solid mahogany body (w/beveled top), a 3-piece maple/purpleheart neck (Wizard Nitro contour, bolt-on joint, satin finish), a 24-fret birdseye fingerboard (1.89" nut, offset dot inlays, 26-1/2" scale), a Gibraltar II bridge, DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, and die-cast tuners.
