Iron label RGD Electric Guitars by Ibanez
RGD series is there for all RG players who prevalently use drop tunings and low six-string tunings such as C, B, drop B, etc. For that purpose, all RGD models come equipped with a 26-1/2" scale instead of 25-1/2" (RG standard). A couple of years ago, to inject even more metal into the already ferocious RGD, Ibanez introduced the RGD Iron Label section. RGDIM6M is one of three Iron Label RGDs which made their debut at 2018 NAMM. RGDIR6M comes in with a solid and beveled RG body (all-mahogany construction, no binding, no pickguard), a 3-piece maple/purpleheart neck (Wizard Nitro contour, bolt-on joint), a 24-fret birdseye maple fingerboard (jumbo frets, 1.69" nut, 26-1/2" scale, offset dot inlays), a Gibraltar hardtail bridge, Dimarzio Fusion Edge pickups, and die-cast tuners.
