RGD series was introduced in order to make it easier for players to drop-tune their RGs (thus the letter D in its name). Some of the unique features include the characteristically beveled tops, 26-1/2" scales, and super simple electronics. Over time, RGD series received its first Premium and Prestige models, as well as its own Iron Label section. RGDIM6FM is one of three RGD Iron Label models introduced for 2018 NAMM. It offers a solid, double-cut RG body (mahogany back, ash middle, flame maple top, beveled top), a maple/purpleheart neck (3-piece construction, bolt-on joint, Wizard Nitro profile), a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (jumbo frets, offset dot inlays, 1.69" nut, compound 25-1/2"-26-7/10" scale), a Monorail bridge, Fishman`s Fluence pickups, and die-cast tuners.
