Mockingbird Electric Guitars by B.C. Rich
In the new BC Rich system, Mk7 and Mk5 series are dedicated to the models with set necks ("Sevens" come with locking trem bridges, "Fives" are hardtails). Mk9 and Mk11 models have neck-through-body construction, while the entry-level Mk1 and Mk3 have bolted necks.
Mk7 Mockingbird follows the classic `bird design and construction cues, including the color palette (Trans Blue and Trans Red are available options). Core construction features include solid mahogany wings, quilt maple top (two-piece top construction, beveled edges), African mahogany neck (three-piece neck, neck-through-body construction, heel-less design), and rosewood fingerboard (24 jumbo frets, diamond inlays, 25-1/2" scale, 1.65" locking nut, 13.75" radius).
Main hardware & electronics appointments include a Floyd Rose Special bridge, High Output humbuckers (optionally, DiMarzios), and die-cast tuners.
