TAT series started out back in 1995, with a single 24-fret axe with the now classic design. Today`s TAT models rock 27-fret fingerboards, neck-through-body construction, and exclusive hardware and electronics. Also, TATs feature boutique-level price tags. TAT Special FM is one of four TAT models available in 2017. It comes with a flat-top body, full-length neck (contoured heel), Schaller/Gotoh hardware, and Caparison electronics. Natural, Stain Black, Black Berry, and Blue Berry options (all with matte finish) comprise the color palette. main construction features include a five-piece maple/walnut neck (Caparison profile, Devil`s Tail headstock), mahogany body wings, walnut body top, and 27-fret ebony fingerboard. Other notable features include a Schaller Floyd Rose bridge, Gotoh tuners, and Caparison`s own PH-R/SH-27F pickups combo.
