TAT is an exclusive line of metal and shred-oriented guitars. Its models take on the classic Soloist shape, but feature TAT`s own characteristic top contour. More than visuals, construction type sets the TAT series apart from the rest of the catalog - it features neck-through-body type of construction. TAT Special is a solid-bodied and double-cut guitar with a standard 25-1/2" scale, Caparison electronics, 27-fret fingerboard and combined Schaller/Gotoh hardware. Wings of the body are made of mahogany and maple (top), while the five-piece maple/walnut neck runs through the middle. 27-fret ebony fingerboard tops the neck. Caparison PH pickups make sure this beast never runs out of gas. Other major features include an original Schaller Floyd Rose bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
