Even though the Floyd Rose-equipped guitar take the number one spot in Caparison catalog, the Japan-based manufacturer gives its utmost effort to make sure that fans of fixed bridges get an equal treatment. Thus the FX models in all of the major guitar series. TAT Special FX is in all respects (except the bridge and string nut) same as the series` main model, the TAT Special. It comes with a solid and double-cut Soloist body and through-body neck. Wings of the body are made of mahogany base and maple top, while the neck is made of five laminates of maple and walnut. Needless to say, PH-R (bridge) and PH-27F (neck) pickups deliver a mind-blowing metal tone. Other major features include a string-through TOM bridge, Devil`s Tail headstock and Gotoh tuning machines.
