CS624 opens up the 24 Fret Carved Top series in the Carvin catalog. It comes with a solid, single cutaway body made of mahogany back and carved, flamed maple top. Finished in gloss, the top features no pickguards. Carvin`s first choice is chrome plated tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction, though other bridge and hardware color options are available. In the pickups area Carvin installs a pair of their own humbuckers which come with a standard controls setup. Master volume, master tone with push/pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is, as usual, made of mahogany and attached to the body with a set-in joint. Ebony is the main fingerboard wood option. It features 24 medium jumbo frets, block position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut. Sperzel tuners wrap the specs.
