CT6 24 is the top of the line model among the soloist-shaped guitars in 24 Fret Carved Top series from Carvin Guitars. It comes with a familiar soloist-like body with a double cutaway and made of mahogany back and carved maple top. Besides the flamed maple, quilted maple and various others are available. Also, the bridge section features multiple choices, though the tune-o-matic with string-through construction is the basic feature. Carvin humbuckers come with master volume, master tone with push-pull switch and three-way toggle pickup switch. The neck comes made of mahogany and attached to the body with a set-in joint. Ebony is the basic fingerboard material with a few more options available. 24 medium jumbo frets, block position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut are common to all fingerboards.
