SH250 opens up the flat top semi-hollow bodied guitars series. It comes with a single cutaway shaped body which is made of mahogany back and bookmatched maple top. The top is flat, finished in gloss and equipped with one "f" hole on the bass side of the bridge. Bridge section is made up of tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. In the pickups area, Carvin installs a pair of humbuckers which are controlled through a simple set of master volume, master tone with coil-splitting push-pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup selector. The neck is made of mahogany and it features a set-in joint. Fingerboard is primarily made of ebony, with other woods being available, as well. 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and 1.69" wide string nut complete the fingerboard.
