Hot Rod Series Electric Guitars by Chapman Guitars
ML-2 Classic is a Hot Rod series model which represents Rob Chapman`s vision of a modern/vintage Les Paul guitar. Unlike the Gibson`s originals, Chappers`s Gold Top rocks a 25" scale and an ebony fingerboard (Gibson stopped using them awhile ago).
ML-2 Classic, like the majority of LP-shaped guitars out there, has a solid mahogany body, but lacks a maple top. Instead, it`s an all-mahogany body. The neck is glued in, made of maple (another departure from Gibson tradition) and equipped with a thin C profile. The fingerboard on its top has 24 XJ frets and a 1.69" TUSQ nut. Seymour Duncan`s dedicated USA BH1 Blues set of zebra-coiled humbuckers delivers a staggering range of tones, bringing the ML-2 Classic close to the ultimate all-round blues/rock guitar in existence. String-thru TonePros TOM bridge and Grover tuners cap off the spectacular specs list.
