Black With Custom Graphics
KX5-CQ is a fixed bridge pair of the KX5FR-CQ and features almost the same specs. They are both placed within the KX series of superstrat models in Cort`s catalog. KX5-CQ kicks off with a double cutaway basswood body. It is available in black color with a custom graphic designed by Stephen Jensen. Top on this model is slightly contoured and finished in high gloss. The bridge on KX5-CQ is a combination of tune-o-matic and a string-through construction. The bridge, as well as the rest of the hardware is black. Pickups department consists of two Motherbucker humbucking pickups placed in the bridge and neck position. They are controlled through master volume, master tone with a push-pull function for coil-splitting and a three-way toggle pickup switch. The neck on this model is made of Canadian hard maple with slim and narrow contour and bolt-on joint. Combined with big lower cutaway necks on KX models give great access to the upper frets. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 24 large sized frets, pearl block position inlays and a 12" fingerboard radius. Other features include: 25-1/2" scale length, die-cast tuning machines and black hardware.
