As opposed to the VX2V, which rocks the Flying V contours, the VX2X is a model with Explorer-like body. This single-cut six-stringer is solid, flat on top and it`s made of agathis, just like it`s series companion, the VX2V. Agathis marks this model for the lower intermediate and beginner`s categories of guitars. White Pearl and Black Metallic color options are both finished in gloss and fit with black hardware. 24-3/4" scale, 12" fingerboard radius and 3+3 tuners arrangement give away the Gibson roots on this model. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it features the classic C contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Two-piece bridge section and passive humbuckers wrap the specs list.
