Yorktown models are single-cut and vintage-styled jazz guitars with fully hollow construction and classic design. As opposed to the Source models, which are based on the vintage Gibson ES concept, Yorktown guitars have their roots within the Gretsch catalog. These two, the Yorktown and Yorktown BV are twin models, with the only big difference being found in the bridge section. The standard Yorktown model is equipped with the wooden bridge and trapezoid tailpiece. BV variant adds the Bigsby vibrato bar into the mix. Body of the Yorktown BV is fully hollow, single-cut and made of maple back and sides with spruce sound board. Two active pickups are installed on it`s top. Neck on this model is set in and made of maple. It is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
