Plexi is a model made by Dan Armstrong. It is a solid and double-cut guitar with set in neck, 25-1/2" scale, 24-fret fingerboard and artificial material body. Body is made of plexiglass, which is a concept not so young, though very few manufacturers dare to explore it thoroughly. Plexiglass, due to it`s dense structure, gives a strong, but slightly different sounding tone. This Plexi guitar is completely see-through, except the pickguard. It features the simple fixed bridge with six saddles. In it`s front is only one pickup. It is installed in the bridge position and it can be easily removed from it`s slot. Simple controls unit is featured with it. Plexi comes with a maple neck, which is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
