STE-FR is one of many models which constitute the Barchetta range. Barchetta is one of two Superstrat lines in DBZ catalog, along with Halcyon and has its aim set at players who like the classic/modern Superstrat/Soloist design. Barchetta STE-FR is a black-clad, six-string axe with a carved-top body and set neck. The body is made entirely of mahogany and is painted in matte black. Hardware, pickup covers and plastic parts are also black of STE-FR. Headstock matches the body, as well, accentuated with white company logo and model name. Fast and smooth mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Series` standard EMG 81/85 set grants this stealthy axe ultimate metal tone. Floyd Rose bridge and Grover tuners round off the stellar specs list.
