Built as the series` flagship model, Villain Deluxe sports a pretty common set of upscale features. There`s nothing revolutionary new or wild in the specs list as B.C. Rich took on a well beaten path.
For starters, Villain Deluxe kicks of with a pretty predictable mahogany body/mahogany neck combo. The neck is set and rocks an ebony fingerboard on top (24 jumbo frets, abalone inlays, 1-11/16" nut and 16" radius). The body, on the other hand, is topped with a flamed maple cap (Tigers Eye and Black Vapor color options are available).
Electronics section is equipped with a ferocious EMG 81/60 set of active humbuckers with a simple controls unit (volume, tone, 3-way toggle switch). Floyd Rose bridge, locking string nut and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners complete the specs list.
