AB class of models in DBZ catalog signifies high class and elegance. Thus, the Imperial AB can be viewed as one of the top models in the Imperial series. Among the series standard appointments, this AB has 24-3/4" scale, Grover tuners, carved top and active humbuckers in both the bridge and neck position. Body of this model is made of mahogany base and carved maple top. Pearl binding and gloss lacquer complete the top panel. Tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar are plated in gold on all color options, except GT, where DBZ installs nickel hardware. Pickups on this model can be split. Neck is made of mahogany, as it is series standard, it`s set in and topped with a regular 22-fret fingerboard made of ebonized rosewood.
