QM is a model situated within the DBZ`s Imperial series of electric guitars. These double cut electrics have been made after the Gibson`s Les Paul with double cutaway. Imperial series main traits are 24-3/4" scale, Grover tuners, DBZ pickups and nickel-plated hardware, though gold is applied on selected models and some of their color options. Imperial QM is one of the upscale Imperial models and it comes with a rich and elegant carved quilted maple top over the mahogany base. Scrape binding and glossy finish complete the top. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with it`s traditional companion, the stoptail bar. Active DBZ humbuckers can be split with a push-pull switch. Neck on this model is made of mahogany, it`s set and topped with a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard.
