Maverick is one of many electric guitar series present in the current DBZ catalog. Maverick concentrates on modern T-shaped guitars, but with a twist. The twist is the scale length, which measures 24-3/4", very unusual for Tele-inspired guitars. Luckily, it works fantastic for the Mavericks.
Maverick ST starts off with a solid and single-cut alder body, paired with a maple neck. The body features the modern carved top (brand-wide feature) and it`s connected to the neck through a bolt-on joint. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard tops the neck. DBZ`s own Diamond Custom R11 and Balinese pickups fill the bridge and neck slots, instead of the Seymour Duncans which are reserved for the more expensive models. Other major features include a reversed headstock, TOM bridge, Grover tuners and plastic pickguard.
