Monarch series offers elegant double-cut guitars, made for both vintage and modern styles of rock, blues and hard rock. These beauties come with short 24-3/4" scales, string-through bridges and dual humbucker pickups. Design-wise, they`re somewhat reminiscent of legendary PRS Custom models. Monarch EX is one of two solid-bodied Monarch series models. It comes with a body made of mahogany base and quilt maple top (Ice Blue is the only color option). Mahogany neck with U profile and glued-in joint is the series` standard feature and EX is no exception to the rule. It is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Seymour Duncan`s Diamond Signature DD-1B and DD-5N humbuckers can purr like kittens and growl like tigers if the need be. Grover tuners, headstock veneer in body-matching color and TOM bridge complete the specs list.
