Dean`s Custom Run models are unique and are available in very limited quantities. This series gives designers and luthiers at Dean Guitars complete freedom and opens an entire universe of possibilities and options which can be used. Each and every of the models introduced into the series thus far is an exclusive guitar with super smooth looks and super quality performance values. For 2013 Dean Guitars represent four new Dean Custom Run models: DCR6 Cadillac Floyd, DCR 7 Stealth Floyd Rose, DCR 8 ML Switchblade and DCR 9 RC7X. Theme of this article is the gorgeous DCR 8 ML Switchblade. It will be available in Trans Blue and Trans Black, one hundred copies with each color scheme. Body of this ML is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany. On it`s top, Dean installs a quilted maple top encircled with creme binding. Bridge section includes a 1000 series Floyd Rose bridge. Pickup combo is somewhat unusual for ML models, it features two humbuckers with a single coil in between. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a special Slim D contour in the back. Set in neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
