ML 79 Floyd Flame Top is a carved-top side of a brand new ML 79 Floyd duo, released at 2016 NAMM. Both 79`s come in with a combination of classic and modern Dean features, at a reasonable price. They both offer classic/modern metal tone, modern playability and classic ML design.
ML 79 Floyd Flame Top starts off with a solid and carved-top body made of mahogany base and two-piece top. The top is bound in white, as is the neck. V-contoured neck is made of mahogany and features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. DMT Design pickups with a standard ML controls unit provide all the necessary firepower. Floyd Rose Special bridge and Grover tuners make sure this classic/modern beast stays in perfect tune.
