Z79 Flame Top belongs to the same family as V 79 Flame Top (and their respective Floyd Rose variants) and is here to honor the glorious 1979 lineup. All current 1979 models were unveiled at this year`s NAMM (including this Z). The MSRP is set at $786.00 (price is at $499.00).
Z 79 Flame Top rocks a Z-shaped mahogany body w/flame maple cap on top (flat top, two-piece, white binding), V-shaped mahogany neck (glued-in joint, 24-3/4" scale) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (jumbo frets, 12" radius, 1-11/16" nut, dot inlays). Trans Black is the only available color option.
Major hardware and electronics features include a string-through TOM bridge (V plate in the back), DMT Design humbuckers and Grover tuners.
