Palomino is a series of hollow-bodied jazz guitars made by Dean. It features a single-cut body made of maple back, sides and top. Top is arched and carved with a pair of "f" holes. Also, the top features an elevated pickguard with binding that matches the "f" holes and the body. Body of this model is finished in high gloss and bound in ivoroid binding around the top. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a wood-based tune-o-matic bridge and a trapezoid tailpiece. In the front, Dean installs a set of three active humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a blade switch comprise the controls unit. Neck on this model is set in and made of maple. It is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
