Razorback started out as Dimebag`s concept for the successor of his ML signature models. Sadly, he never lived to play it but, thanks to Dean Guitars, the Razorback lives. The lineup of the series constantly changes and Explosion is currently among the most expensive options (price set at $949).
Razorback Explosion sports the ML-based Razorback body, set-in neck, super heavy pickups, and mixed hardware. Explosion (w/gloss finish, black hardware) is the only available color option. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body (beveled top), mahogany neck (V profile, V headstock), and rosewood fingerboard (Pearl Dime Razor inlays, jumbo frets, 14" radius, 1-11/16" locking nut, 24-3/4" scale).
Major hardware & electronics appointments include a licensed Floyd Rose bridge, Grover tuners, and combined Seymour Duncan/DMT Series pickups set.
