Regular portion of Dean`s catalog has three basic tiers, the beginner where the starter packs and scaled-down models reside, standard and USA. Above them all, the exclusive Custom Shop is located.
USA Splittail Flame Top Floyd comes in with a solid and double-cut Splittail body and a set-in neck. The body is made of mahogany back and flamed maple top, Sunburst is currently the only color option available (gloss finish, gold hardware). The neck is also made of mahogany (V profile and set-in joint) and rocks a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top (block inlays, jumbo frets, locking nut). The pickups are USA DMT Baker Act in the bridge position and Nostalgia in the neck. Other major features include abalone inlay on the headstock, gold-plated Floyd Rose bridge and Grover tuners (also gold-plated).
