USA V 1977 TCS is a very accurate replica of the original 1977 V made by Dean Guitars. It happens to be one of three guitars that started it all back in the 1970s. In 1977 Dean Guitars entered the NAMM for the first time with their own models. These were Z, V and ML. All three models have survived to this very day and are now available in numerous variants and price classes. This particular V pays homage to the very first Dean V and it belongs among the exclusives of the USA segment. This model comes with a solid, flat body made of mahogany back with flamed maple top. Top panel is bound in creme binding and features two bookmatched panels. Bridge section is the same as on the original V and it features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction. Pickups in it`s front are mighty DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers, installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Controls unit is a standard one. Mahogany neck is V-contoured and set in. Ebony fingerboard on it`s top has 22 frets with dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
