USA Z Chicago Flame is a model from the brand new series and segment of electric guitars made by Dean. Three series comprise the Chicago segment, which was launched at this year`s NAMM show, USA Chicago, Chicago and Chicago Standard. All of them are dedicated to the revival of the Z, ML and V models introduced at NAMM 1977, Deans that started it all.USA Z Chicago Flame comes with the classic Z body which was derived from the then-current variant of Gibson`s Explorer. Body is solid and made of mahogany back with flamed maple top. Creme binding around the top and glossy finish decorate the body. Trans Brazilia, Trans Cherryburst and Classic Black are color options available for this model. Bridge section is a classic one, as it features tune-o-matic bridge with strings going through the body behind it. Pickups are DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. Mahogany neck is set in and sports V contour in the back. Bound ebony fingerboard is equipped with a set of 22 frets with abalone inlays and 1-11/16" wide nut. Grover tuners and 24-3/4" scale complete the specs list.
