T-400 is one of two jazz boxes featured in DeArmond Guitars catalog. This one is a fully hollow and single-cut guitar with six-string construction. It features vintage styling and design, as well as the vintage tone. Base for such tone is found in maple, walnut and rosewood combination of tonewoods, as well as within the coils of the high quality active humbuckers installed on this model. Maple is used for the back, sides and top of the body, as well as for the neck. For the neck, it is combined with walnut laminates. Bridge section on this model is equipped with Bigsby vibrato bar behind the tune-o-matic bridge with wooden base. Pickups feature separate volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 vintage-styled frets.
