Les Paul Express is another in series of Epiphone`s Les Paul models that concentrates more on performance and tone, than on the looks. It delivers a neat, flat and black single-cut body made entirely of mahogany. There`s no top wood cover on this one, nor a pickguard. Also, there`s no binding around the top. Black Gloss is the only color scheme on LP Express, and it`s perfectly matched with a pair of open-coil humbuckers. Pickups are made by Epiphone and are accompanied by a standard set of volume and tone knobs. Bridge looks much like Fender`s hardtail and it features string-through construction. Neck is made of maple, it`s bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
